Wonderful website and I just watched the excellent CD that was made several years ago. I have numerous family members that have lived and still reside in the area. It is wonderful to see all the effort that is devoted to this site and keeping the area and family history alive. I am a descendant of the Hammond family and lived in Blaxhall the first five years of my life. It lifts my heart to see the pictures of the area and relatives that I have not had the oppotunity to get to know. Hello to my Auntie Ena Plant and Uncle Henry Hammond. God Bless you all for such a wonderful effort and giving of your time.

This is a great website! My hobby is family history research and I came across your site while researching the Ling family. I always like to find out as much as I can about the places of origin of the people I am researching, and this one is the best I've seen so far. Keep up the good work.

My name is Marianne Travis and a lot of my family is from England. However, I have lived in the US since birth and do not know much about my family. My aunt is Violet Skeet and she let me know about this web site and I appreciate that but I am not seeing many pictures of my mother or grandparents (I saw 1) so if someone could help me get more info I would appreciate. Please let Violet Skeet know I have contacted you if you can. I am interested in knowing my family so any help I can get I would appreciate it. Thank You!

A message for Barry Jay - did you know that Louisa's maiden name is Sadd?

Hello again!!
Many apologies for making the mistake of forgetting our Aunt Daphne (nee Savage)and John living at 'Stone Cottages'- thus still living in the Blaxhall confine. Oh, and describing the family homestead as the only building on the right when walking from the Ship to the school. It is the oldest property, not the only one on the right. Thanks for corrections.
John Savage.

I RECENTLY FOUND YOUR GREAT SITE WHEN RESEARCHING MY FAMILY TREE. MY FATHER ALBERT JAY CAME FROM BLAXHALL AND I REMEMBER VISITING BLAXHALL WHEN QUITE YOUNG, THERE ARE STILL ONE OR TWO RELATIVES STILL LIVING IN THE AREA. I WAS PLASED TO SEE THE PHOTO OF MY G-G-GRANDPARENTS ALFRED AND LOUISA JAY IN YOUR ARCHIVE. WONDERFULL STUFF!!
