David and Lydia Ling were my great grandparents, their son Esau being my grandfather.I don't know if you already have this information, but in the 1891 census Florence and Eva, two of David and Lydias daughters had moved to London and were employed as domestic servants for David Baker, a coin dealer at75 Park road Clapham London, and in the census for 1901 Eva had married Walter Woodhouse living at 24 Mishope Buildings St Pancras London, and my Grandfather Esau had moved in the household as a stableman/groom. I am the Grandaughter of Laura Ling who was the older sister of your Grandfather Esau. I knew Florence was in service in London - but I didn't know Eva was as well. I live in Putney, South West London - not far from Clapham where they lived.
My Grandmother, Laura, married James Faulkner and they lived in Kensington, London. They had seven children although unfortunately one died.
